The bottleneck
Distribution. The work is good and nobody is seeing it. Fixing the edit will not move this number.
The report, live. Press a weak dimension to see what fixing it would actually do to the overall.
the why
It scores the thing, not the vibe.
Positioning, editing, storytelling, systems, consistency and distribution. Six separate scores rather than one blended number, because a single figure hides exactly the dimension that is holding the rest back.
It names the bottleneck.
Most content problems are not editing problems. A diagnostic that tells everyone to improve their edit is selling editing. This one will tell you the work is fine and nobody is seeing it, which is a harder sentence and a more useful one.
Free, and honest enough to lose the sale.
If the answer is that you do not need us, it says so. A tool that qualifies everybody qualifies nobody, and the disqualification is what makes the rest of it worth believing.
what gets scored
- Positioning
- Whether a stranger can tell what you do, and who it is for, inside one video.
- Editing
- Craft. Pacing, cuts, grade, sound. Usually the highest score, and rarely the problem.
- Storytelling
- Whether the first three seconds earn the next thirty, and whether there is a reason to stay.
- Systems
- Whether this can survive a busy month. Most channels die of process, not of taste.
- Consistency
- Cadence held over time. Volume beats brilliance here, and it is not close.
- Distribution
- Whether the work reaches anyone. The most commonly broken one, and the least often blamed.
It reads what you give it in ninety seconds, which is a channel’s shape and not its whole history. It will point at the dimension holding the rest back; it will not tell you what to shoot on Tuesday. That part is still a conversation with a person.
